Once you graduate from one of the following USPA authorized Memphis Skydiving School network location instruction courses, you will understand the ins and outs of how to handle any situation under a parachute at miles above the terrain. The following characterizes the two most refined educational programs available for fresh students in the Memphis area.

Memphis Skydiving School First Level

Beginning with 6 thorough hours on the ground to offer you guidance on manipulating the canopy, landing methods, releasing your main parachute, arranging your body for proper arch in freefall, and sticking to aircraft exiting procedures. Two jump masters from a local USPA certified dropzone (skydive center) will be delegated to you and will ordinarily remain by your side throughout the opening stages. During the near 60-second time frame that you are in freefall, safeguards are considerably enhanced by direct in-air jump master supervision. Perhaps by radio or another mobile device, the instructors will land before you and walk you through the wind travel pattern and flare prior to landing.

Memphis Skydiving School Level 2, 3, & 4

Once you go ahead with the second stage, your two skydiving trainers will stay with you for ninety-degree turns, along with circle of awareness nearly every three seconds (CoA), an exit count, body arch preservation, and appropriate pull sequence.

The third step in your program will proceed to scan the Circle of Awareness and other basics during freefall, covering the practice touch before a possibly slightly reduced altitude pull. Jump masters ought to see you become more at ease in the air and release from you while lingering closeby; you'll now encounter the sense of speed on your first true solo adventure.

Level four is here, and you're greater than halfway finished with your official certification training! As your abilities continue to improve, you will be fixating on "Heading Control" with 90 degree turns and forward movement; a single jump master will be reviewing your work.

Accelerated Freefall Level 5, 6, & 7

Once you've attained stage 5, you will certainly execute more controlled 360 degree spins and forward movement; one Memphis Skydiving School network jump master will help advise your session.

Level 6! At last! It's only your second to last skydive, but it will likely be the last one having an instructor ! The most advanced skydiving maneuvers of the course are figured out here; exhibiting delta tracking (gliding across the sky), freefall flips and reformation from pre-planned volatile body placements are extremely important skill-sets to acquire in this stage.

The most exhilarating was saved for last! Although no jump master carries on with you in freefall, you make a diving exit and confirm your newly attained skydiving skills (exactly like everyone else in the Memphis Skydiving School network region). Video is a terrific add-on to have during this dive, but as with any jump, it is an elective extra (depending on the diving instructor). Only 18 unsupervised jumps left until you can apply (you need to have 25 total) for your A-license!
